The power of kindness

A few years ago a kind person purchased one of my paintings to hang in their office. This person is always supportive of my work when they see it on social media, so I was very happy when they decided to buy a painting. I love the particular painting, so knowing it was going to a good home was a major bonus.

Now fast forward to present day. The same person reached out to me recently to tell me they were at a work event and they were asked to write the name of their favorite artist on a white board. They wrote my name! How kind is that?! I still can’t believe it. Kindness is so powerful, and I am so very grateful.

It's finished...for now.

Here are some shots of the playground refresh I painted at a school in Chester, PA. I had forgotten to post these once I finished. I always had an audience of littles while I was painting, and you can see some of their tiny footprints around the map. Sometimes, it’s hard to resist wet paint:) I will be returning to Chester to do some more volunteer painting soon, so stay tuned.
